Our corporate responsibility initiatives
Our corporate responsibility approach helps us make clear commitments and aim for measurable outcomes. Here are some examples from this year:
Sollio Cooperative Group and its three divisions (including Sollio Agriculture) committed to reducing their scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 25% by 2030 compared to the 2019–2020 fiscal year.
We identified energy efficiency projects that will help us decarbonize our operations.
We committed to applying rigorous environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria in all our financing and investment decisions involving major disbursements.
We adopted a procurement policy that integrates ESG criteria, so we can develop strategic partnerships with suppliers who share our values.
We enhanced our health and safety performance indicators, reducing accident incidence by 26%, frequency by 13%, and severity by 31%.

How we contribute to sustainable agriculture
Sollio Agriculture defines sustainable agriculture as any model of production that accounts for the human, ethical, environmental, and economic impacts of production, with the goal of optimizing processes and adapting to both climate change and society’s ever-evolving expectations of the agri-food industry.
Part of that means establishing minimum requirements and fostering positive outcomes while accounting for compromises and competing priorities. At Sollio Agriculture, our commitment is focused on promoting sustainable agriculture among farmers and other agri-food industry players.
To do that, we’ve developed a Corporate Responsibility Action Plan. It is designed to help farmers transition to more sustainable farming, especially through research projects that examine how sustainable farming practices can be made more profitable. We have specific indicators to measure our impact and help us improve our corporate responsibility performance.

Governance
Our corporate responsibility (CR) objectives are ambitious but achievable. They are the result of in-depth analyses and consultations with our managers and employees. We put our CR objectives first in everything we do, and we have a dedicated team that transparently prioritizes them and executes our CR approach.
To achieve our CR objectives, we’ve established an effective and participatory governance structure. Specifically, we have a multidisciplinary CR committee made up of representatives from all our functions. Each member is responsible for their team’s contributions to the CR Action Plan.
Corporate responsibility for the whole division is under the responsibility of the Vice‑President of Operations, who delivers progress reports to the Sollio Agriculture Executive Committee and the appropriate corporate bodies at Sollio Cooperative Group.
