How we contribute to sustainable agriculture
For Sollio Agriculture, sustainable agriculture is any model of production that accounts for the human, ethical, environmental, and economic impacts of production, with the goal of optimizing the processes involved and adapting to both climate change and society’s ever-evolving expectations of the agri-food industry.
Sustainable agriculture must be a means of establishing minimum requirements and fostering positive outcomes while allowing for compromises and competing priorities. Sollio Agriculture is committed to promoting sustainable agriculture among farmers and other agri-food industry players.
To contribute to sustainable agriculture, Sollio Agriculture has developed a corporate responsibility action plan based on eight commitments and 20 targeted results. Specific indicators will help us measure our impact and improve our corporate responsibility performance by 2025.
To achieve this, we have established an effective and participative governance structure. In practice, this means that we have created a multidisciplinary committee, assigned each targeted result to a member of the executive committee and a dedicated team was created to ensure the corporate responsibility strategy reporting.
