Meet the winners of the 2024 Dairy Performance Awards
We’re celebrating five years of Dairy Performance Awards! That’s five years that we’ve been teaming up with our Québec cooperatives to recognize the top milk producers in Québec and Eastern Ontario.
What are the Dairy Performance Awards?
They’re awards for dairy farms that do business with Sollio Agriculture. They recognize outstanding annual production results, based on fat + protein delivered to the tank.
Holsteins: 2.55 or more
Mixed breeds: 2.10 or more
Scores are calculated using the data collected through AgConnexion | Lactascan, which helps farmers track their technical and financial performance, among other things.
The awards are a great way to celebrate the hard work and dedication of farmers in the Sollio Agriculture network.
Five years at a glance
Different versions of the Dairy Performance Awards have existed for many years, under different names. The current version was launched in 2020.
In the five years since, the winning farms have continued to up their game. They’ve increased their production averages for protein and butterfat year over year, with more and more farms hitting 3.0 kg.
Ferme Nieuwenhof et associés has been at the top of the rankings every year for the past five years. Two other farms have also managed to stay in the Top 25 every year since 2020:
