AgConnexion wins the top prize at the 2018 Mercuriades awards
In front of more than 1,000 guests, the Agri-business Division of La Coop fédérée won the Mercure award in the Development of a Web or Mobile Technology category at the 38th annual Mercuriades awards, a prestigious business competition.
The Agri-business Division is extremely proud to have received this award for AgConnexion, its digital platform that brings together in one place all the farm management tools that farmers need.
“La Coop fédérée has always innovated to better support farming families. With this in mind, the Agri-business Division set out to digitize and develop AgConnexion, which has significantly increased the efficiency and profitability of farmers and retailers alike,” said Sébastien Léveillé, Vice-President of the Agri-business Division of La Coop fédérée.
Since its launch, the platform has delivered excellent results:
Agri-advisors spend 80% less time following up with customers.
Farmers can access documents and information more efficiently.
Farmers have increased their profitability and efficiency through advanced technology and data analytics (up to 10% higher profitability in some segments).
The Mercure awards ceremony took place at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.
Last year, BMR Group, a subsidiary of La Coop fédérée, won the coveted Large Business of the Year award and the Mercure award in the Productivity Improvement category.
Organized by the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec since 1981, the event highlights the innovation, ambition, entrepreneurship and performance of local businesses.
